Position:	Residential Roofing Production Manager

As the Residential Roofing Production Manager at Frederic Roofing, you play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating residential roofing projects to ensure their successful completion and satisfied customers. You are responsible for managing the roofing crews, materials, safety protocols, and customer communication. This position requires strong communication skills, flexibility, and an eye for detail to ensure that our roofing projects are completed efficiently and meet our high-quality standards.

Crew Management:

• Supervise roofing crews and subcontractors.

• Ensure that the roofers have the necessary materials for the day's work and plan for future material needs.

• Verify that the job site is watertight at the end of each workday.

• Create schedules for all new residential roofs and coordinate repairs for crews.

Project Planning:

• Work with foremen/quality control super intendants and estimators to plan and schedule roofing projects, including the selection of what areas to work on.

• Order materials through our suppliers for all residential roofing jobs.

Communication:

• Maintain daily communication with estimators and homeowners/property managers to track project progress and address any concerns.

• Keep strong relationships with customers, informing them of project status and working closely to meet their expectations.

• Follow up at the end of each roof project making sure the job is done correctly and the customer is satisfied.

Safety:

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all roofing crew members are practicing proper safety protocols.

• Promote a culture of safety and ensure that the team meets all safety training standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with crews, subcontractors, customers, and team members.• Flexibility to work varying hours, as some days will require more than 8 hours to complete tasks.

• In-depth knowledge of ongoing roofing projects and a keen eye for detail.

• Commitment to maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering high-quality service.

• Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in the roofing industry.

• Ability to assess and address roofing repairs efficiently.

• Ability to track weather conditions and make weather calls for the crews and jobs daily.
